The torsen binding on full lock turns is a well-known characteristic, particularly on earlier generation quattro systems where the bias ratio was higher. When Audi changed the ratio from 4:1 to the current 2:1, most of the binding disappeared.

Nov 11, 2010 · The springs are ALWAYS BLACK regardless of sport/non-sport. Red shocks are for sure sport shocks. Springs are really hard to tell since you kind of have to remove them, then decode the markings to figure it out. Victim dumper its probably you have sport springs or aftermarket ones and OEM non-sport shocks.
